My Daughter, Courtney, gave me a trip to Waco for Valentines. Why Waco, you ask? That is where our favorite show, Fixer Upper on HGTV, is filmed! Our first stop on this beautiful day, Magnolia. This is Joanna’s retail store and we had to see it!
As you can see, it is really cute. Joanna wasn’t there! Probably best, I’m sure I would have embarrassed myself! Her staff was so friendly and helpful. Since she gets lots of shoppers, Joanna has this postcard of her favorite stops in Waco.
All this driving and shopping made us hungry, so we stopped at Lula Jane’s, a quirky little lunch spot that was just right. We had tomato soup, focaccia, and pimento cheese. Yummy!
On our way to our last stop, we passed all the food trucks! We will definitely remember this for our next trip.
Next, an old converted warehouse with lots of shops and restaurants. Perfect!
